Here I am with a new present for you! Yes because, as some of you may already know, I like to create easy projects for you to keep you practicing and teach you something new… I hope!
So, this is a new Free Pattern to make you realize your own easy decoration on canvas with acrylics!
I want to be completely honest with you telling you how I came up with this design.
Unfortunately, we are all suffering a lot right now and we are all facing an extreme uncertainty period all over the world. This virus we are all fighting in all Countries is forcing us to stay apart from each other, even if that’s for our best, and it’s difficult helping or giving support to each other.
This is why, Dynasty Brushes and DecoArt Inc. have launched this initiative called #flowersofhope, asking to paint a flower with the colors of the rainbow and to share the painting.
I thought this was a beautiful initiative, mainly because I deeply believe that art and creativity are a universal language, that has the power to gather people instead of set them apart… that makes people feel good, even when we’re facing extremely hard times.
So, I started thinking how I wanted my flower to look like and… this is the result!
I was very happy with how it turned out and I really appreciated seeing all your reactions and your comments on the social medias, so I told to myself… if I was feeling good when I was painting it, why should I keep it only for myself?
Actually, nowadays we all need some colors, some hope and, trust me… art is one of the few things that can make you walk away without leaving your homes!
In the Free Pattern you will find all the material and the instructions to make your own #flowersofhope and realize this easy decoration on canvas with acrylics.
There’s also a quite interesting technique that I use sometimes to create a background with texture.
I didn’t make the step by step picture for this project (damn me! But when I painted it, I wasn’t thinking about making a pattern…LOL).
However, on my YouTube channel, you can find two short tutorials about how to create a texture background and how to put color on it.
I hope you will find some joy in painting this design and that you will be able to go out from your homes… at least with your mind!
