“Gnomie date night” is a Decorative Painting design that has a special place in my heart! Although they are all special to me, I have a special feeling with this. It’s one of the projects I have taught to my very first Painting Convention in the USA together with Christmas Festival and Friends on paper.
This project is painted on a wooden surface, but of course you can adapt the design to another surface or material of your choice.
There are lots of Decorative Painting techniques that you can learn in Gnomie date night: floating for shading, dry brushing, stippling, stencil, lining for hair and beard and all the details. Not to mention a very fun technique to create the burlap effect 😊
