“Christmas Festival” is a Decorative Painting design that has a special place in my heart! Although they are all special to me, I have a special feeling with this. It’s one of the projects I have taught to my first Painting Convention in the USA together with Gnomie date night and Friends on paper.
This design is painted on a wooden surface I used to decorate a wreath, but of course you can adapt the design to another surface or material of your choice.
There are lots of Decorative Painting techniques that you can learn in Christmas Festival: floating for shading, dry brushing, stippling, stencil, lining for Santa’s beard. Not to mention a very fun technique to create a frame around the design 😊
