I love decorating my house according to the seasons! Elegance is a floral design painted with the basic Decorative Painting techniques. It was published on the “On-Line Painting magazine” (Spring 2018).

The surface is a wood panel for a paper-towel holder that you can find on Pinecraft Inc website. It’s designed so that you can change the front panel according to the season!

In this design, you can practice the basic Decorative Painting techniques: floating and drybrushing! However, you can also practice with how to use the crackle medium and the liner brush.

I created other Decorative Painting designs similar to Elegance, that you may be interested in and that are suitable for the paper towel holder surface: Orchids lover and Waiting for Christmas.

Do you want to learn something more about the techniques I used? Check out some tutorials on my YouTube channel: how to prep the surface, how to float colors or how to drybrush, the basics of Decorative Painting techniques.

So, what do you think about this design??? Would you like to create a floral paper towel holder and paint your own Elegance??? You can find the packet with complete step by step instructions and linedrawings at the SHOP section!
